K Calibrations provides contract based calibrations services to clients within the bio-pharma, food and electronics sectors.
our expertise – calibrations
The provision of contract based calibration services may in it’s simplest form, involve the short and/or long term hire of instrument technicians to client sites. More typically, however, it involves the surveying of existing facilities and procedures for GMP compliance and the preparation of client specific standard operating procedures.
We calibrate ‘field’ instruments across various parameters including temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, weight/mass etc. We also provide temperature mapping services within warehouses, cold rooms, autoclaves and sterilizers.
The internal database used by K Calibrations for the recording of all calibration records is Compucal version 5.1.2. All measuring equipment is certified and subject to both in-house 6 monthly checks and annual external laboratory checks.
K Calibrations is also an active member of the Irish affiliate of the Instrument Society of America.
Clients include Abbott Pharmaceutical, Cambrex, Diageo, Irish Distillers, Teagasc, Xerox, ESB Power Gen etc.
